WASHINGTON, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- The Democratic National Committee said Wednesday it canceled its candidates debate scheduled for Dec. 10 in Los Angeles.

DNC Communication Director Karen Finney said the reason was "the uncertainty created by the ongoing labor dispute between CBS and the Writers Guild of America ... ."

Finney said there were no plans to reschedule the final installment in a series of DNC-sanctioned debate.
