NEW YORK, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is predicting a big win for Barack Obama in the Iowa caucuses, calling Obama a livelier candidate than Hillary Clinton.

The high-profile conservative Republican commentator said on ABC's "Good Morning, America" Tuesday that Illinois' Obama appears to be a better motivator than New York's Clinton and could win the Democratic caucus vote by "a surprising margin."

"I have a hunch that the emotional energy that Senator Obama is building is more powerful than the emotional energy Senator Clinton is building," Gingrich opined.

Gingrich also advised political junkies to keep an eye on the developing contest between high-profile surrogates, including former President Bill Clinton and Obama fan Oprah Winfrey.

"There are millions of people who trust her judgment," he said of Oprah.
