LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- A Georgia woman lost a finger when a man pulled up next to her in his car, grabbed her purse and drove off.
A suspect, Caesare R. Pinkins of Tucker, Ga., was being held without bail Friday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The purse-snatching took place Wednesday in the parking lot of a Kroger suspermarket in Lilburn. Illana Spellman, a spokeswoman for the Gwinnett County Police, said investigators suspect Pinkens of a similar robbery Monday at a Target store in Stone Mountain.
Doctors were unable to reattach the finger of the second victim. The first was not hurt.
