LONDON, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- A teacher at a Roman Catholic school in England lent a student a cell phone that allegedly contained nude pictures of the teacher and of the deputy headmaster.
The pictures were passed to other students at St. Joseph's School in Croydon, a suburb south of London, The Mirror reports. The teacher allowed the student to use her phone to play a song.
"It's fair to say we were pretty shocked, especially since we get lectured about strict Christian values all the time," a student told the newspaper. "It was wrong to pinch the photos, but they must have thought it too good an opportunity to miss. The head must have gone ballistic."
The snapshot of the school's deputy head, which shows he has a tattoo above his crotch, appears to have been taken during a school trip.
The school, in a statement, said that the affair "would be dealt with through the normal procedures."
