GRINNELL, Iowa, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- An Iowa college student says that a member of Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign staff got her to ask a specific question at a rally.
Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, a sophomore at Grinnell College, told CNN that the staff member first asked her if she wanted to ask a question and then rejected the question she wanted to ask. She would have liked to ask Clinton how her energy policy proposals compare with other candidates.
"I don't think that's a good idea, because I don't know how familiar she is with their plans," she says she was told.
The staffer had a list of prepared questions and assigned her one about climate change that was marked as being for a college student.
Gallo-Chasanoff, who said she is undecided about who she supports among the Democratic presidential contenders, is somewhat disillusioned by her experience. She said she asked the planted question because she wanted to be agreeable.
"I think she has a lot to offer, but I -- this experience makes me look at her campaign a little bit differently," she said of Clinton.
