TEHRAN, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Iran and the European Union plan future talks on various issues, including Iran's nuclear program, but no new date has been set, Iranian Press TV said.

Iran, meanwhile, said it will proceed with implementing plans agreed to with the International Atomic Energy Agency that lay out a timetable for understanding Iran’s nuclear program. Officials are working to block a third U.N. Security Council sanctions resolution against Iran, which they say may affect Iran's cooperation with the IAEA.

"In case a third resolution is passed against Tehran, we will take the necessary decisions," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said at his weekly press conference in Tehran Monday, Press TV reported.

Iranian Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili will meet again with EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana, Iranian Press TV reported.
