BAGHDAD, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Two police officers were killed Saturday in separate attacks in Iraq, CNN reported.
A roadside bomb targeting an Iraqi police convoy killed one police officer and injured another in Mahaweel, about 50 miles south of Baghdad. In a separate incident, gunmen fired on police at a checkpoint, wounding one officer.

In the nearby city of Hilla, a drive-by shooter killed a police officer near a police station, CNN said.
