PLYMOUTH, England, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- A 93-year-old pensioner died Saturday in Plymouth, England, after falling during a bitter argument over a parking space in a local car park.
Jim Webster of the Devon and Cornwall Police said the unidentified pensioner appeared to have been embroiled in a dispute with another man at the car park, when he suddenly fell and suffered a fatal head injury, the BBC reported.
"It appears it was a simple argument about a parking space," the chief superintendent said of Friday's incident.
"There's no indication at this stage that he was punched," he added.
While police are still unsure whether the man was pushed to the ground or fell of his own accord, they arrested a 50-year-old following the incident.
The suspect has since been taken in for questioning and police are treating the incident as a possible homicide investigation for the time being, the BBC said.
