Russian helicopter crash kills four

MOSCOW, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Four people died when an MD-600 helicopter crashed in Russia's rugged Kemerovo mountain region, Itar-Tass reported Sunday.

The helicopter found by a forester in the Tash-Tagal district belonged to the Yuzhkuzbassugol Co., said authorities investigating the crash.

Vladimir Lavrik, head of the Yuzhkuzbassugol Co., and two others were killed in a similar accident last September when his personal MD-600 helicopter suffered engine failure and crashed near Novokuznets, Itar-Tass reported.
