CINCINNATI, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- An Ohio man was charged Friday with giving his ex-girlfriend's son access to a handgun that the 8-year-old took onto a school bus.
The boy will not face charges, WCPO-TV in Cincinnati reported.
Colerain, Ohio, police took the boy into custody after the school bus driver reported the boy had shown a holstered gun to other children on the bus. Investigators said the gun was loaded.
Hamilton County sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Wilson of Greenhills on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor.
One woman said her daughter described the boy's behavior as threatening.
"Hey, I got a gun," he reportedly said. "If anybody gets in my way today, I'm mad."
