PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Police in Philadelphia were looking for two suspects who have been posing as cab drivers and robbing college students at gunpoint.

The suspects, both male, pick up unsuspecting people trying to catch a cab and then pull a gun on them before driving to ATMs and making their victims take out money, police told The Philadelphia Inquirer.

"We're asking people to be very aware of their surroundings," Lt. Frank Vanore told the newspaper.

Central Detectives Lt. Richard Brown added that the robbers are using a real cab that had been put out of service. The cab is described as a black Ford Crown Victoria with a white logo.

Brown added that none of the victims have been harmed, the Inquirer said.
