Ljubisav Djokic said he decided to sell the old yellow bulldozer because he couldn't find money to repair it, the Serbian Blic Online reported Wednesday.
Anyway, its place is in a museum, Djokic told the Serbian news agency Beta.
Djokic complained that the democratic leaders who replaced Milosevic seven years ago, have not helped him repair the bulldozer, which is no longer in working condition.
The new authorities forgot how they came to power, Djokic said in an apparent reference to assistance he and his bulldozer provided in leading the way for angry crowds storming parliament and state television buildings in Belgrade in the Oct. 5, 2000, popular revolt that toppled the Milosevic regime.
The opening bid for the bulldozer is $128,000 on a Serbian auction Web site.
