LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Los Angeles police say they found a key source of skid row drugs and weapons in a day-care facility.

Stockpiles of cash were found in the portion of the duplex operating as a day-care facility during the late Tuesday raid.

California Community Care Licensing officials noted Castellon had licenses to operate day-care facilities, but not at that site. A city business license was posted at the property at the time of the raid.

Nearly 31 pounds of cocaine and 50 pounds of marijuana were uncovered along with $300,000 cash. A weapons cache was also uncovered among children's toys.
