CHICAGO, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Police divers searched a pond on a Chicago-area golf course Saturday morning near where a missing woman’s company car was discovered.

Nailah Franklin was last seen Tuesday. Her car turned up Friday night in Hammond, Ind., just across the state line from River Oaks Golf Course in Calumet City, Ill., The Chicago Tribune reported.

Monique Bond, a spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department, said that some of Franklin’s personal belongings were in the car. She said that investigators called off the search of the pond at 10:30 a.m. Saturday when nothing was found.

Franklin, a sales representative for Eli Lilly & Co., was reported missing when she missed an important meeting Wednesday and failed to get in touch with her family.

Franklin’s boyfriend, Andre Wright, said that she had been getting threatening phone calls from a man she dated briefly. While Franklin did not take any action, another woman filed for an order of protection from the man this month, the report said.
