BAGHDAD, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Military officials said U.S. troops killed seven terror suspects Thursday in an operation south of Baghdad.
Three people were killed and 11 others were wounded in a car bomb blast in in the eastern sector of the city, the Kuwaiti News Service (KUNA) said Thursday.
The military said four terror suspects were detained in an operation that targeted a reputed hideout of al-Qaida in the town of Mahmoudiah and an Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps officer was arrested during an operation in Sulimaniyah in northern Iraq, KUNA said.
