Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist

BOGOTA, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- A leading Colombian drug lord was captured during a raid aimed at members of a the Norte del Valle cocaine cartel, considered the largest in Colombia.
Diego Leon Montoya Sanchez, also known as "Don Diego," was caught allegedly hiding in a pile of leaves, El Tiempo newspaper reported Tuesday.
Montoya is the head of the Norte del Valle cartel, Colombian authorities claimed.
The drug lord reportedly offered the soldiers who captured him $5 million to let him go.
The Norte del Valle cartel is alleged to ship more than 300 tons of cocaine every year to the United States, Europe and elsewhere.
