WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Al-Qaida’s production company has posted an online ad for a new video by Osama bin Laden to mark the anniversary of the 2001 attacks on the United States.

The video is to appear by Sunday, CNN reported. The As Sahab ad includes a photograph of bin Laden with a black beard, although recent photographs show that his beard is heavily streaked with gray.

The ad is in Arabic. As translated by CNN, it reads: "Soon, God willing, video message by the Lion Sheik Osama bin laden, may God protect him."

Bin Laden’s last video appeared shortly before the 2004 U.S. presidential election. He is believed to be living somewhere near the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, although CNN cited a military official who said his whereabouts now are uncertain.
