Waitress killed in front of customers

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- A waitress was fatally stabbed in a restaurant packed with tourists in Orlando, Fla., it was reported Monday.

The woman's estranged boyfriend, Alejandro Casa, 47, remained at large Monday after allegedly stabbing the 40-year-old woman Sunday night in a Denny's and then being chased from the restaurant by other employees, WKMG-TV, Orlando, reported.

"(The victim) was an employee and she was working on the floor when a Hispanic man walked in and attacked her viciously and intentionally," Orange County sheriff's Capt. Steve Lang said.

The woman, whose name was not released, had recently obtained a restraining order against Casa but it had not been served, Lang said.
