Slovak police were investigating the accident and preliminary reports suggested the bus had a brakes problem.

Another bus, with Polish registration plates, carrying 25 Slovak tourists to Bulgaria overturned on a road in southern Romania, killing three people Monday, the Serbian news agency Beta said.

The bus swerved off the road and overturned several times near the town of Giurgiu on the Danube River south of Bucharest. Further details of the crash were unavailable.
