KARACHI, Pakistan, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- The death toll from a Pakistani bridge collapse rose to 10 Sunday as two more bodies were pulled from the rubble in Karachi.

The latest victims, identified as residents of Landhi and Kharadar, were pulled from the wreckage of the Northern Bypass Bridge Sunday morning, GEO TV News reported Sunday.

Rescue workers said they are trying to remove another body from beneath the debris.

The new bridge took several vehicles with it when it fell Saturday, including two trailers and a police car. The vehicles were buried under the wreckage of the bridge.

Pakistani officials have warned the large number of onlookers at the site that a portion of the structure that remains suspended could collapse at any moment.
