BAGHDAD, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- A translator kidnapped from his home has become the third CBS News employee killed in Iraq.

Anwar Abbas Lafta was taken at gunpoint from his home in Baghdad this week and later found slain, CBS reported Tuesday.

In 2006, CBS News cameraman Paul Douglas and soundman James Brolan were killed by a car bomb, which seriously injured correspondent Kimberly Dozier, who has recovered and returned to work.
