Teacher dated porn star, quits classroom

MONESSEN, Pa., Aug. 10 (UPI) -- A wheelchair-bound Pennsylvania teacher who won a date with a porn star has resigned from his classroom job.

Jaison Biagini, who has taught art in Monessen near Pittsburgh for 14 years, said he entered the contest on the “Bubba the Love Sponge” show on Sirius satellite radio because it included a free weekend in Tampa and he wanted to visit the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. He described the date with porn star Akira as staged and said he felt the sponsors had made fun of his disability, The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported.

The Monessen school board voted Tuesday to accept his resignation.

Producers of the radio show said Biagini knew what he was getting into when he entered the contest.
