Wilson faces seven felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals, which each carrying a 3-year maximum jail sentence, and three misdemeanor counts of violating an owner's duties.

Her husband, Steven, released a statement claiming that the couple had left their 17-year-old daughter to look after the animals while they vacationed in Colorado, but police alleged that the dogs lived in deplorable conditions before the Wilsons left.
