LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 28 (UPI) -- A teenage girl in Kentucky whose feet were severed by an amusement park ride must undergo more surgery, it was reported Saturday.

Kaitlyn Lasitter, 13, was injured last month on a ride at Kentucky Kingdom called the Superman Tower of Power. Doctors were able to reattach her right leg but not her left, where more surgery is needed, WKLY-TV, Louisville, Ky., reported.

Kaitlyn's physical and emotional pain since the accident has been "unimaginable," said her parents, Randy and Monique Lasitter. who are suing Kentucky Kingdom for unspecified damages.

In a statement, Kaitlyn's parents said they have received calls from people telling them the seat Kaitlyn was placed in during the ride was reported faulty weeks before she was injured.
