Three killed in Somalian market

MOGADISHU, Somalia, July 22 (UPI) -- At least three people died in Somalia in fighting between insurgents and security forces, Voice of America reported Sunday.

The busy market has been the scene of violence nearly every day for weeks.

Islamist radicals controlled Mogadishu until late last year, when the government ousted them with the aid of Ethiopian forces. The government since has struggled to gain full control of the city and stabilize life there.
