WASHINGTON, July 16 (UPI) -- Sen. John McCain's campaign is being reshuffled again following the reported resignation of the Republican U.S. presidential hopeful's press staff.
The departures of Communications Director Brian Jones and two top deputies come in the wake of last week's resignation of McCain's campaign manager and chief strategist.
The New York Times Monday said McCain's New Hampshire communications director, Jill Hazelbaker, would move into Jones' slot as the Arizona senator tries to get his sputtering campaign back firing on all cylinders.
McCain has been struggling with flagging fundraising and stiff competition in the polls from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
It was not known whether the departing McCain campaign staffers were being picked up by any of the other contestants in the still-crowded Republican presidential field.
