BANGKOK, July 16 (UPI) -- Laos Monday freed seven army rangers from Thailand and a Thai village headman after capturing them last week, the Bangkok Post reported.
The eight reportedly had strayed across the Laotian-Thai border.

They were released by Laotian authorities to Thai military officers after negotiations between the two countries, the report said.
