TOLEDO, Ohio, July 3 (UPI) -- An Ohio man has admitted providing prostitution services at fraternity gatherings across the United States.

Kevin Murphy pleaded guilty Monday in federal court in Toledo to five criminal charges, The (Toledo) Blade reported.

Investigators say Murphy used his ties to members of Alpha Phi Alpha, a fraternity that held its 100th-anniversary convention last year in Washington, to get business. Delegates were offered escort services provided by "Janelle's Sophisticated Ladies" and "Erotic Angels."

Assistant U.S. Attorney David Bauer said one of the escorts was only 16.

"There is no evidence that organizers or national officers had any knowledge this was going on," Bauer said.

Murphy allegedly provided escorts for other fraternity gatherings, including ones in Illinois and Michigan. He faces at least five years in prison when he is sentenced.
