MEXICO CITY, June 29 (UPI) -- A missing 7-year-old girl who disappeared with her murder-suspect father shortly after her mother was killed in mid-June has been found in Mexico.

Breanna Martinez-Chavez was found by U.S. marshals in Zacatecas, Mexico, and was reportedly unharmed, The Rocky Mountain News reported Friday.

She is preparing to be flown back to Denver, said Colorado chief deputy U.S. Marshal Ken Deal.

Deal said he couldn't reveal how the girl was located since her father, Hilario Martinez-Fabela, hasn't been found.

Police said they believe that Martinez-Fabela, 34, killed his 32-year-old wife in Denver before fleeing to Mexico.
