PRINCETON, N.J., June 19 (UPI) -- Former U.S. Sen. Bill Frist is heading for Princeton University in the fall.
Frist, a 1974 graduate of Princeton, is to teach courses on public health policy at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. His schedule calls for him to teach a graduate course this fall and an undergraduate one in the spring.
"We are very pleased to welcome Bill Frist back to Princeton and the Woodrow Wilson School," Dean Anne-Marie Slaughter said in a news release. "His years of experience in public service as a doctor and as a leader in the U.S. Senate make him an ideal practitioner-professor."
Frist became the first practicing doctor to serve in the Senate in more than 60 years when he was elected in 1994 from Tennessee. He stepped down after two terms.
