JAKARTA, June 18 (UPI) -- An Indonesian court on Monday sentenced two men to prison for providing a laptop computer to a jailed terrorist.
Agung Setyadi, who is also known as Pakne, was sentenced in Semarang District Court to six years in prison for sending the laptop to Imam Samudra, the Antara news agency reported. Benny Irawan, who is also known as Abu Hanafi, was sentenced to five years in prison, Antara reported.
Samudra, the mastermind of a 2002 Bali bombing that killed 202 people, is awaiting execution at a Bali prison.
Seyadi, a lecturer at a Semarang university, sent Samudra the computer in exchange for $330, said Edi Sudharmuhono, who presided over the panel of judges, Antara reported.
Benny, a former warden at a prison where Samudra was serving time, allowed the inmate access to the laptop in his cell and was found guilty of helping a terrorist.
