Former Hells Angel convicted of killing

SEATTLE, June 11 (UPI) -- A former member of the Hells Angels motorcycle club in Washington state was convicted Monday of killing a man who falsely claimed to be a member.

Rodney Rollness of Snohomish was charged under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. The U.S. Attorney's Office said he faces a life sentence.

Another former Hells Angels member was convicted on other charges. But the jury was unable to agree on whether Joshua Binder of North Bend was involved in the killing of Michael Walsh.

Richard Allen Fabel, president of the Spokane Hells Angels chapter, was convicted of racketeering.

Federal prosecutors plan to retry Binder and another defendant, Ricky Jenks of Spokane. The jury was unable to agree on a racketeering charge involving Jenks.

Prosecutors said Walsh was killed during a party at a house in Arlington because he had been falsely telling people he was in the Hells Angels. His body was found in a nearby ditch rolled into a rug.
