Politics 2012: Ron Paul strategy keeps things interesting

MEXICO CITY, June 9 (UPI) -- At least 46 people were killed in drug- and gang-related violence across Mexico in the past week.
In one incident, during a wake for a boy who had died in a drowning accident, masked gunmen shot and killed two people. The boy's father was Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo, the fugitive founder of the Tijuana cartel, The Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.
Violent crime has increased sharply throughout Mexico in recent months, prompting President Felipe Calderon to dispatch some 20,000 troops to the most troubled part of Mexico, including several cities along the U.S.-Mexican border.
