Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

MADRID, June 1 (UPI) -- Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos said Spain and the United States want "democracy and freedom for Cuba," EFE news agency reported.
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, however, expressed concerns about Spain's diplomatic relations with the communist island during her visit to Madrid, EFE reported Friday.
"I have made it very clear that I have real doubts about engagement with a regime that is anti-democratic," Rice said. "Spain has a different view on that. People who are struggling for a democracy need to know that they are supported."
