KNOXVILLE, Tenn., May 25 (UPI) -- A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper has been fired after allegations that he received oral sex from porn actress Barbie Cummings during a traffic stop.
Trooper James Randy Moss was fired Thursday, two weeks after he came under scrutiny for alleged misconduct after he stopped Cummings -- real name Justis Ellen Richert -- for speeding near Lebanon, Tenn., the Knoxville (Tenn.) News-Sentinel reported Friday.
Cummings claimed Moss, who issued her a citation for driving 92 mph in a 70 mph zone and driving without registration or proof of insurance, stopped her May 7 as she drove home from visiting her aunt. She said he tossed painkillers found in her car into the bushes after learning of her profession and the two engaged in sexual acts in Moss' patrol car, the newspaper report said. She said the trooper took photos and video of the encounter.
Highway Patrol spokesman Mike Browning said Moss will face charges for allegedly throwing out the drugs.
"We'll be aggressively pursuing a charge that he destroyed narcotics," he told the News-Sentinel. "There could be other charges."
