GAZA, May 21 (UPI) -- Israel bombed Hamas facilities in Gaza Monday, and lawmakers said Palestinian political leaders also could be targeted.

The Israeli air force bombed the home of Hamas parliamentarian Khalil al-Haya, wounding him and killing seven members of his family and another person, Haaretz reported.

The Israeli attacks are in response to a barrage of Qassam rockets fired at Israel from Gaza. Three Qassam rockets landed in western Negev Monday morning. There were no reports of damage or injuries, Ynetnews reported.

Israeli Cabinet ministers warned Hamas personnel they could be targeted in future attacks.

"I don't distinguish between those who carry out the (rocket) attacks and those who give the orders. I say we have to put them all in the crosshairs," National Infrastructure Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer told Israel Radio.

Hamas' former political leader Khaled Meshal, the target of a failed Israeli assassination attempt in 1997, would not be "immune" to Israeli attack, Public Security Minister Avi Dichter said.

"I am convinced that they will say goodbye to him at the first opportunity that arises," Dichter told Army Radio.
