KENT, Wash., March 23 (UPI) -- An unmanned plane patrolling the Mexican border helped police catch a man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in Kent, Wash., police said.

CNN reported Aparicio-Lopez had waived extradition and would be returned to Washington to face charges of third-degree rape.

The warrant issued for Aparicio-Lopez last May stemmed from a relationship he had with his girlfriend, 15, who became pregnant, CNN reported. Aparicio-Lopez was 23 at the time.
