Puppy taken in violent British dognapping

LONDON, March 3 (UPI) -- It took four masked men armed with two guns to steal a 3-month-old bull terrier puppy from a pair of friends in London.

As two unidentified friends were relaxing in a home in the Peckham region of London Monday night, they were relentlessly attacked by four men who ultimately made off with several valuable items and one cute little puppy, icSouthlondon.com reported.

"The men kicked the door down and demanded all our money," an unidentified 21-year-old victim said. "I tried to stop them and was gun-bucked (pistol-whipped) to the ground and then they hammered me in the head."

While the robbers left the man injured and stole mobile phones along with a set of speakers, the victim only could think of his missing Staffordshire bull terrier named Tearah.

"I'm all right now but it was pretty scary at the time," he said. "My girlfriend and I just really want the dog back now."

The Web site said the suspects are said to have been two black men and two white men, all in their mid-20s
