MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich., March 1 (UPI) -- Two weeks after a Michigan woman was reported missing, tipsters are still reporting spotting her and her young children headed to school.
Tara Lynn Grant, 34, was reported missing on Valentines Day by her husband, Stephen Grant. He said she disappeared after the two had an argument on Feb. 9 when she returned from a business trip to Puerto Rico and said she have to return almost immediately, the Macomb Daily reported.
Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel said 15 to 20 people call his office every day with sightings or other tips in the missing persons case.
The sheriff told the Macomb Daily that case will remain active "as long as I am sheriff" -- or until Tara Lynn Grant is found.
The Grants' children, a 6-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son, returned to school, the Detroit News reported.
"I talked to the principal of my daughter's school, and he said everything went fine," Stephen Grant, 37, told the newspaper.
