Bulgarian gives birth to four boys

SOFIA, Bulgaria, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- A 30-year-old mother of one girl gave birth to quadruplet baby boys in the eastern Bulgarian town of Dobrich, the Sofia News Agency said Wednesday.

Snezhana Atanasova conceived naturally and delivered the quadruplets in the seventh month of pregnancy. Doctors at the Dobrich hospital said the babies were in critical condition.

The four babies each weighed 1.4 to 1.7 pounds, SNA said.

Doctors said these were the first quadruplets born in eastern Bulgaria.
