GUATEMALA CITY, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Police have found the bodies of three politicians from El Salvador in a car in Guatemala's capital, La Prensa Grafica reported Tuesday.

The body of their driver also was found with the politicians in their charred and bullet-ridden vehicle.

The three Salvadoran lawmakers -- Eduardo D'Aubuisson, William Pichinte and Jose Ramon Gonzalez -- were also members of the Central American parliament.

D'Aubuisson was the son of the late founder of El Salvador's ruling Arena Party, Roberto D'Aubuisson.
