Reid's heckler arrested

LONDON, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- The Muslim man who heckled British Home Secretary John Reid last year has been arrested in London for allegedly encouraging terrorism.

Abu Izzadeen, 31, was being held under the 2006 Terrorism Act related to an "ongoing inquiry," Scotland Yard told Sky News.

Sky News said Issadeen's arrest is apparently related to a speech he gave last year that predated his much-publicized outburst at Reid to Muslims in Leyton.

"How dare you come to a Muslim area when over 1,000 Muslims have been arrested?" he said. "You are an enemy of Islam and Muslims, you are a tyrant. Shame on all of us for sitting down and listening to him," Sky News reported.
