RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- A small plane crashed in the Amazon jungle killing all six people on board, O Globo TV reported Wednesday.
Brazilian aviation officials did not say what caused the crash.

Wednesday's accident was the latest in a series of blows to Brazilian aviation.
Earlier this week, three types of jets were banned from landing at a Brazilian airport because the runway is too short.
Last year, Brazilian aviation was rattled by the country's worst accident in history when a commercial flight collided in mid-air with a small private jet. All 154 people aboard the commercial flight died, and the two American pilots of the private plane were charged with endangering air safety.
