Canada body-parts murder victim identified

CARACAS, Venezuela, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, in his weekly radio address, told U.S. officials to "go to hell," El Universal newspaper reported Monday.
Chavez's remarks were aimed at comments by Washington signaling official concern about the Venezuelan leader being granted wide-ranging executive powers.
Earlier this month, Venezuelan lawmakers granted Chavez powers to allow him to rule by decree.
The leftist Chavez said the new law was necessary for Venezuela to pass sweeping nationalization laws for several public sectors -- including electricity, telecommunications and oil.
Chavez was re-elected last month to a second six-year term on a promise to complete his proposed socialist revolution.
