Colombia frees Venezuelan reporter

BOGOTA, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Colombia Tuesday freed a Venezuelan reporter for a state-run TV station after he served two months in prison for allegedly plotting a series of bombings.

Freddy Munoz of the Telesur network was accused by Colombia of planning the 2002 blasts in Colombia with the country's leading rebel group, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC.
