The Chicago Tribune described Johnny Selvie as a member of the undefeated King High School squad that played the 1990 state championship with Johnny wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet due to pending drug charges.

Johnny said he was there to support his cousin, whom police said pulled a gun on Willie Posey during an altercation at a North Side bar Dec. 16.

Posey and Johnson were out on the town just days after police seized six unregistered guns from the home the two friends shared, the report said.
