Schwarzenegger breaks leg

SUN VALLEY, Idaho, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger broke his leg Saturday while on a family skiing trip in Idaho.

In a brief statement, the governor's office said he was the only person injured, CNN reported. His upper leg was X-rayed at a hospital and then he returned to his Idaho home, where he is spending Christmas with his wife, Maria Shriver, and their children.

Schwarzenegger is to have surgery on his leg after the holiday, his office said.
