LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Los Angeles police said they are searching for a "brazen" sexual predator who attempted to assault three sleeping children within the space of an hour.

Police said the man entered two houses, taking photos of a sleeping 7-year-old boy in the first house, and attempting to remove a 9-year-old girl's pajama bottoms in the second after lifting her 6-year-old brother up from his bed, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.

The man entered a third house and stole a wallet from the trousers of a sleeping adult male, the police said.

"This man is brazen and dangerous," Los Angeles police spokesman Lt. Paul Vernon said. Vernon said there were no injuries in any of the incidents.
