DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- A Dayton, Ohio, woman faces a possible death penalty for the apparent microwave death of her 28-day-old daughter last year.

China Arnold was indicted for aggravated murder by a Montgomery County grand jury that included a provision for the death penalty if convicted. She was accused of killing little Paris Talley in a microwave oven, the Dayton Daily News said.

The baby is believed to have suffered thermal burns caused late Aug. 29 or early Aug. 30, 2005. She was dead when she was brought to Children's Medical Center on Aug. 30.
