ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- China and Pakistan have signed an agreement calling for greater cooperation on trade and anti-terrorism as Chinese President Hu Jintao ended a state visit.
The two countries agreed Saturday to increase bilateral trade to at least $15 billion in the next five year and to cooperate in manufacturing ventures in areas like automobiles and textiles, Xinhua, the official Chinese news agency, reported. The pact also calls for greater cooperation on energy development.

Leaders also agreed that Pakistan should open a consulate in Chengdu, China.
Hu met with President Pervez Musharraf and other leaders in Pakistan. He is scheduled to return to China Sunday.
